Same rooms as every premier inn (still good) long serve but nice food!

Nice location, just across the road from the beach. Arrived at about 5pm, but nobody was on the reception desk and no-one arrived for a few minutes. However, obtained my room key promptly afterwards. Room was very nice indeed, nice and clean and very well presented. Shame I couldn't get a room with a beach view, but it wasn't the end of the world! I went down for some dinner at around 7:30pm and used the restaurant, but unfortunately had to wait around 50 minutes, as my order was taken promptly by the staff, but it was not given to the chef, so she had no idea what I wanted, so didn't make anything! In saying that, when the food arrived it was excellent and very good value (11 for a large sweet chilli beef salad, with drinks)The room itself was VERY quiet and the bed was so comfortable, so I had an extremely good nights sleep. The bath was nice and large, with a good/powerful shower, along with shower/bath gels and face wash. Breakfast in the morning (served from 6:30am) had a large choice and was cooked fresh, along with a number of pastries, toast, juices, tea and coffee etc. On the whole, an enjoyable stay. I'll definitely be back!

the rooms are good and clean. however the restaurant service is absolute rubbish. 3 days on the trott i have walked out as i waiting for an hour and a half for my food even though there was others in the restaurant each time.

Great location for the seafront. As most Premier Inns, comfortable rooms. The restaurant is a Thyme franchise with a limited menu and no proper bar so they only sell bottled beer, no draught. The sirloin streak was pretty good although the Lamb shank Rogan Josh was dried out, not enjoyable at all. The breakfast staff was limited, maybe that was because it was out of season. The breakfast chefs were very accommodating serving off-menu fried bread that made a refreshing change.

Great view from our room. I found the bed very uncomfortable which is shocking as reason for booking with them because the beds at Premier Inn are normally so comfortably.Only once someone on reception and she had her hand down not interested in serving the customers who are paying for her to have a job. Not sure I like that there is noono- on receptionWhen we arrived the self service machines were out of use. We stood there like plumbs wondering how to get help. My husband finally saw the call button. The man who came out was very helpfulBreakfast was nice. Lady servicing very friendly. Room cleaners also friendlyJust the girl at the reception desk who was not interested in serving and the lumpy matteres that let down our stay
