Lovely old building with lots of character and a great atmosphere. The food was great, homemade even the sauces and sides. Great value for money as well. Our first visit, we will be back.

Come here quite often. Parking always a little tricky especially on busier days. Food is always good and reasonably priced. Also offer gluten free options and veggie options. Very helpful knowlegable staff who are friendly. Dogs allowed in bar area but not restaurant. Toilets are quite small and not disabled friendly. They have a ramp to get wheelchairs into entrance as steps.
Bonjour. After a long walk on the downs., we decided to eat here. The staff were very friendly and helpful in organising a table for us. We were going to opt for the Sunday roast but decided to try the Steak and Kidney pudding with mash, veg and gravy. Absolutely delicious. So much so, we both had the Apple crumble and custard for dessert. In my opinion the best home cooked food experience I've had in quite a while. Give it a go. Food is served all day so no need to worry about time constraints. Enjoy!
My son & I stayed on a Thursday night and both thought it a decent pub with good beer & friendly staff. Our room, was nice, clean and with good facilities. The only downside being the lumpy mattress. Breakfast was epic.
