Was not happy about being quoted a price then getting charged double at the counter. Very annoyed that the vet did not tell me she was going to add more onto the bill without telling me? This is the reason vets have such a bad reputation. The vet should always Tell you exactly what they are doing and how much it will before doing it, and springing a rediculous bill on you in the end. I will not be using this place again

A good vet practice. Local and convenient. I would recommend except the medicines are so expensive and I wasnt offered the option of taking a prescription and sourcing myself for a third of the price!! Puts me off going again!
I felt quite anxious prior to visiting the specialist, mark as i was concerned that expensive treatment and scans would be the first option suggested. However i was pleasantly surprised and relieved when mark thought that time and rest would be the best solution at the moment for my dog. I would really recommend grove lodge as i have always been seen promptly and treatments have been thoroughly explained. They do make you feel relaxed and a bit more confident when in an anxious situation
Amazing, caring service. They treated our elderly dog (Pickle) yesterday following a large gastric bleed. They cared for us as much as the dog! Regular calls to update us on her condition were so reassuring. The staff were informative and we felt able to make informed decisions about her care. So glad we took her there. The receptionist gave me a huge hug just when I needed it.Brilliant care for all of us!!
